I passed a group of young men playing in the rice paddies, just outside the Phnom Penh prison. One of them did a summer salt before diving into the muddy water. Another guy dropped his shorts as he plunged in from a small bridge across the main stream. A third guy did flip after flip in front of me. I watched and photographed this for about twenty minutes. It was a witnessing children enjoying themselves. It was another, of so countless many episodes, in so called developing countries, where I have watched children be children, without the shoulder heavy burdens of modern technology, tearing them away from what they should be doing. It was great to watch. It was all up!
